My name is Ines Wallace, I am a coffee-addicted woman happily married to my wonderful God loving, rockstar of a husband, Willy Wallace.
We are just a regular God loving, hard working, children adoring,
"not so young  anymore" couple imported from Chile to work
         in USA 20+ years ago.
Before I go any deeper into details about our life, I must start by saying that from the day we got married we knew what we wanted our life to look like and what to taste like... and, our own personal list of ingredients included a calm, relaxed, stress free, and easy going Florida life together ...
...Lots of years later..... we have learned that God just loves it when we make "our own plans".... and with great sense of humor, He added everything we needed  (which happens to be exactly what we had missed in the making of "our list") ....He just turned our life around and made it completely the opposite of what we had planned....and a thousand times better!..
Thank you Lord for laughing at us and for not reading "our list"!

Now, with a little more wisdom in our brains than before, and a few gray hairs topping our heads, we find ourselves living a crazy and busy life with hearts full of gratitude to our God for the blessings of our six children, four homegrown and two Ukrainian children..... and 94+ others still at the Ukrainian Orphanage.......Something about those 94 little faces waving goodbye as I left with my daughter, almost 4 years ago, has made me count them as my own since then...
Two of our beautiful and younger children, Lucia and Nicholas came from the other side of the world to bless our family through the gift of adoption.
They were born in the beautiful country of Ukraine. And both of them spent their precious first years of life in an Orphanage.
With our first adoption (Lucia, in 2010) we learned that this process can be very stressful, nerve wrecking and...very, very emotional!..... and, if you don't have the right support, the correct/updated information and the wise guidance, it could become 10 times harder any minute!
During our last adoption journey (Nicholas) in 2013, we were introduced to Reece's Rainbow Adoption Grant Foundation and we had the honor to meet and become a part of the great Reece’s Rainbow family.
The mission of Reece’s Rainbow (RR) is to advocate and find families for orphans with Down syndrome and other special needs by raising funds for adoption grants and promoting awareness.
The support we received from RR made the road to our son, Nicholas, so much easier and painless that I felt the need to share this wonderful organization in this blog.
